sunday morning

sunday morning is hangover time. after saturday’s excesses, the streets are almost empty, and among the few who are around, there are people who struggle with life.

not every story is a fairy tale. not every photo is a landscape with a rainbow. not every experience of suffering is distant from home.

everyone in life encounters crossroads, and depending on their opportunities, the support they receive, and their education, they choose one path or another.

on sunday mornings, cities become challenging scenarios to cross quickly, with the bare acknowledgement of those who are considered non-entities because they have given up and lost their rights to exist in front of the self-assured human consortium.

purpose of these photos is to document the surrealistic aesthetic of such scenes, with the aim of evoking a punctum.
